Sawn Timber – wood products of specified dimensions and quality, having at least two plane-parallel faces.
Lumber is obtained as a result of longitudinal division of round wood (logs), as well as longitudinal and transverse division of the resulting parts.
According to the cross-sectional shape, materials can be divided into:
- Beam. 2-edged, 3-edged or 4-edged square or rectangular sawn timber with a thickness of at least 100 mm and a width not exceeding the thickness more than 2 times
- Bar. Section - a square or rectangle, the thickness of which is less than 100 mm, and the width does not exceed the thickness more than 2 times
- Plank. Lumber of rectangular section with a thickness 15-100 mm and a width exceeding the thickness more than 2 times
- Batten. Small sized thin boards and flat bars
Our company makes sawing of coniferous wood only on disk sawmills of European production that ensures dimensional accuracy while cutting.
We carry out supply of sawn timber both of natural moisture and technical chamber drying – up to moisture according to the customer’s order.
